I am a contemporary Canadian landscape artist. I'm a visual story teller engaged in a mad race against time. recording disappearing pre-urbanized landscapes, as cities swallow land in fertile temperate zones. Summers End

As summer winds down, some crops are done and plowed under, others are still to be harvested. The countryside is a rich tapestry of greens turning to gold changing to rich brown soil once again.

The trees, just starting to don their fall coats, punctuate the tapestry with flashes of brilliant reds and oranges.

Many Canadians will tell you that this is our favorite time of year, soon we’ll be gathering to give thanks joining with our friends and family around a harvest laden table.

Winter comes quickly here and often lingers far too long but we know summer is coming again, bringing with it, the bounty of our land and the beauty of our country.
